Below is a list of the Early Warning responses based upon results received from the Treasury Check Verification Service's (TCVS) check verification application:

Check has been issued but has already been paid; check has been issued but amounts do not match; check has a stop payment or has been cancelled; check is stale dated (13 months from issue)

Extended Hold – Treasury or AMEX Item

Check not found; possible data capture issue (inquiry)

None – Treasury or AMEX Item – No Risk Identified

Check has been issued for inquiry dollar amount and has not yet been reported as paid
